“If you want quick results, use the Deity, if you want permanent results, use the Door”
Doors are part of the Earth realm which requires action/interaction on our part. Nothing beats creating destiny (or permanence) by going out to get it yourself.
The Door of Death 死門
Earth | Kun Gua | SouthWest | 2
If you have a Qimen Destiny Death door, in contrast to the name, you belong to the most powerful group of people. People who are in Death door usually holds the key to someone’s do or die, go or no go, life or death, so to speak, even more if the door is in Envoy (And if you have a Hero + Death door, you actually give people hope or guide them out from the darkness of life). The only thing is that in order to get there you yourself need to go through a certain amount of hardship/heartbreak in life, specifically a lot of stops and starts yourself. In terms of character, you yourself are very intense, an all or nothing kind of person with not much concern about the consequences of your decision, hence your life mirrors your own intensity. A lot of things things in your life forces you to let go of what you have and to start anew. For example if you have the 6 Harmony with a Death door in your own chart, you would have (usually) 2 very deep relationships in your life. When the first one ends, it’s time for a restart. The key to handling your Death door, is knowing when to let go. But in terms of finance, your penchant for property accumulation is tremendous.
In Qimen Forecasting Death door is all about … well, death. Something ended. Something is not going to work, something is not going to happen, you are going to lose something. The only time this is good is when you’re asking if someone/something that is already gone will return to you. Then the answer is a yes. It’s also the useful god if you’re assessing your properties.
In Qimen Strategic Execution, we usually only use this door for a few purposes, you can use it to sell land or it’s also fantastically good for losing weight. You can also use it if your purpose is to end something. Apart from that it’s only positively usable when the door is in Envoy.
In Qimen Feng Shui, this would represent the area of your house where the energy is the lowest. The Qi in here may be a bit stagnant where the life force is low. Avoid this room if you are easily depressed. Alternatively it can represent that something kept here is of someone who has already departed. Possibly a graveyard, burial land too.
