The Qimen Method: SE Case Study – Increasing Sales

The other day I posted a brief case study on my Facebook page (in case you are not following my Facebook Page – Mind Your Qi by Mindy Yoong – please do as I share more information on that Page than I do on this blog) about a good friend who called me up to thank me because when we met up last week, he complained about an empty shop and asked if there’s anything that could be done to boost up the number of customers. So when I made him manifest something from that hour’s chart, it worked. Now everyone wants to know how/when/why/what/who which I didn’t have enough time to explain in a short post.

This is a big deal for me because this is the first time he actually called to thank me. My years and years of trying to convince him of Qi Men, he didn’t even thank me when we bought a 4D ticket together based on Qimen and won (I won’t be explaining this). THIS, he finally thanked me.

First thing that comes into people’s minds –> Is this even real or not? So easy?? Maybe just a coincidence? Why hasn’t it worked for me?

When it comes to Strategic Execution there are a couple of rules and pre-requisites. If you can’t meet them, you won’t see results. Period.

This was the chart I used when I paid him a visit at that hour –>


Background: My good friend – one of the biggest skeptic in the world – has a destiny Surging Snake that he doesn’t know about, has very strong martial arts background but zero knowledge of QiMen, so his personal Qi is high to begin with and he CAN feel energy because he is a destiny Surging Snake, he says he sees colors and I’ve personally watched his eyelids flutter when I make him tap into energy. I love using him as my ‘Qi radar’ because I trust him enough to tell me what he feels exactly in different directions without knowing what on earth I’m doing.. *laughs*

Q: Why did I pick South? and not South West (Or East)

A: To be fair I made my friend try the South West first, I didn’t like SW or E because it was a Delusion/Rest door, not great for increasing Sales unless you already have clients you want to lock in. But I wanted his feedback. He stood there for a good 30 seconds, all restless to tell me… nope. Nothing. I said “Nothing?? It’s a 6 star Chief…”. “Nope… feeling”. Fine. So I moved him to the Snake palace with the more appropriate Harm door without any prior explanation. And he went all “Oooo…ahhh….disco lights” so I left him there to do his thing. I think this is because he is familiar with his own energy, hence the Surging Snake and also Harm door and also Destructor – matches his own chart entirely. And since he was using the Snake, I asked him to shift the dull energy of the entire shop – manifest vibrant thoughts and customers who will come in happy and leave happier. Surging Snakes have the ability to flip the energy of an entire room.


Use whatever you are comfortable with even if it’s not what you presume to be the best formation. If you don’t trust the feeling, it won’t work. It does really help if you can do some meditation or energy tapping techniques. If not, use the Active Method like making calls, sending emails or posting promotions.

Q: Why pick Harm door? 

A: Harm door represents hunting for something, finding something and that includes Leads and Sales. We pick what suits our objective.


You need to know what you want or at least identify the root cause to know what to use in the first place. If in doubt, consult us.

Q: Why look at the Door if we’re manifesting? Isn’t it unnecessary?

Yes, it’s not really required, but Qimen loves specifics. If you can be more specific, the faster the desired outcome will be. It’s like telling your Uber Driver: I want to go to the airport but I’m not sure which terminal but we’ll find out when we get there. Versus: I want to go directly to Gate 4 of Terminal 3, International Airport, thanks. Which one is clearer and faster? Personally, I look at everything, including the Hexagram.


Knowing that this is just a temporary quick fix and that you need to follow up with subsequent actions that will lead to long term results. It opens the door, but you have to do the work to stay in the room.

Last Pre-requisite:

I believe a lot in affinity. There were also a few consults I did where what they complained about could be solved with that hour’s Qimen chart and it did – it’s their affinity with the solution. Some may need to wait longer than others.


The Final Touch:

There is a final touch that I commonly use and I only use it if and when needed, that is my 7 star Phoenix mouth. Not sure how much it factored in, but I’d like to think it did a fair bit.
